Volunteers Energising the Gardens!

What a joy putting a plant into the ground is – truly an act of hope for the future and trust in nature.

Recently, the volunteer gardeners planted around seventy native trees and shrubs – including some majestic Red Gums - Eucalyptus Camaldulensis (thank you to Paul Rosser for his generous donation of plants!) These were planted around our school dam site and the vision is to establish our very own Karra Wirra (Kaurna language for Red Gum Forest) creating a beautiful, bio-diverse habitat. How wonderful it will be to watch it grow.

See you in the garden!
